Ground Conditions for External Trades
Must be applied at all locations
- Ground conditions for external trades, such as bricklayers and scaffolders, must be: Level and formed of well compacted material and free from slip and trip hazards.
- Uneven unmade ground, or large aggregate imported material is not acceptable.
- Trade supervisor must review ground conditions as part of their daily checks to ensure they have not degraded.
- Ensure the working area is left clear for follow-on trades.
